This brief overview will help you clarify all key questions in advance and avoid follow-up inquiries, unnecessary costs, or delays. Below, you’ll find the most important aspects at a glance. ✅ Product

  • Implanted RFID chips: In practice, reliable detection of implanted RFID chips cannot be guaranteed. The collar tag included with every pet door is the most dependable solution.
  • Maintenance: To ensure long-term functionality, we recommend regular maintenance – ideally once a year.


🛠️ Installation

  • Consult the petWALK Info Centre in advance: Before placing your order, please refer to the petWALK Info Centre for detailed information on door sizes, installation dimensions, technical specifications, and other essential details.
  • Installation: petWALK pet doors are designed for self-installation. We do not offer an installation service.
  • Installation height: Use your pet’s belly height as a reference – ensure the door is not installed too high for comfortable use.
  • Accessories & configurator: Use our configurator to to customize your petWALK door. Based on your input, the required installation accessories (e.g. tunnel sets or spacers) will be added automatically.
  • Power connection: A power supply is required. A suitable power adapter is included with your order.


📦 Delivery

  • Delivery time & shipping costs: These are shown in the shopping cart. Consumers are entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
  • Deliveries outside the EU: Additional charges such as customs duties or taxes may apply and will be collected by the shipping carrier upon delivery.
  • Check the delivery upon receipt: Please inspect the package immediately upon receipt for damage or missing items. If installation is delayed, the internal battery must be recharged every 2 months for 24 hours by connecting the pet door to the power supply.

Our support team is available via email (or by phone upon request) and typically responds within
3 working days.
We do not provide on-site support. For optimal remote assistance, we recommend activating petWALK.control, which allows our team to access your system (with your permission) and provide effective troubleshooting.
